To assess the response of wheat to phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) fertilizer application.

CONCLUSION
There was an in-season biomass and yield response to applied P and K. Which was expected due to the low P and K status of the site.
The highest fertilizer treatment (24 kg P/ha, 40 kg K/ha & 160 kg N/ha) did not have the highest yield.
Yield ranged between 1.9 -2.5t/ha and was lower than expected considering the favourable rainfall conditions and the paddock being ameliorated at the start of 2018.
Profits were reflective of the higher grain prices, good overall grain quality and reasonable yield.
The treatment to optimise yield and profits is 12 kg P/ha, 20 kg K/ha and 70 kg N/ha.
